Spring

Leaves starting to grow,
Buds are a sure sign of spring,
Birds songs sound so sweet,
Plants sprouting out of the earth,
Summer is starting to show.

    All of this is really nice. Tankas are such great forms and very advanced, consisting of 5,7,5,7,7 syllable count. I think you might have to shorten the last line for the syllable count though :)
