They met over the internet, they were not sure whether there’ll be a life for them in the future, but here I am remembering the story of my ancestors who lived through a plague. We built skyscrapers within the deepest oceans, created life in the most deserted lands, and then we ask ourselves why can’t we be together? Is it because the sky lost its colors? Or is it the thirsty oceans? Whatever it may be I promise you, the two of us won’t let our earth down. ***Prompt by Everlasting from NaPoWriMo 2021 thread.
