Do you believe in soulmates?

An unexplainable connection

Fortified in the grains of time

Beyond flawed imperfection

Have you ever felt drawn to someone?

Like a rubber band that just won’t break

Snapping hard back to its original shape

No matter what might be at stake

Have you ever felt crafted for someone?

It’s a constant joy, a constant pain

To think you could ever go without

Is enough to drive anyone insane.

      I had never heard that song. I was more thinking about how they tell you to wear a rubber and and snap it to help with negative thoughts/emotions.

    Nicely written. I like how each line is it's own separate thought that you need to ponder on. Had me asking myself about each one, which is a brilliant way to get the reader involved.

    In regard to the questions, yes to all. Its great when it works and really sucks when it doesn't. Unfortunately it was the latter for me personally, but hopefully others read this and have more positive thoughts, which is why I think this should be on the front page for a while, if at least to get some to appreciate life's lessons.
