Obstacles (acrostic)

by Em   May 9, 2021

Obstacles come in many shapes;
Brusies on my pretty face made me
Surrender friendships and all my
Timetables were rescheduled to
A later day. Viscous cycles begin.
Coercive behaviour caused rifts,
Laughter turned to goldust and
Empathy a thing of the naive past.
Strong humans come back fighting.

    O my god: "Empathy a thing of the naive past." I understand you suffered and want to get rid of the pain, but do not get rid of the empathy because then you are not you. All the sufferings were for you to grow a soul, not to to lose your soul, your empathy.

    Empathy is for those who have
    Compassion is for those who have not

    Bruises are worn by warriors and they are earned

    Makeup is worn by models and divas

    Beauty is worn by you!

    Strong humans do, indeed, come back fighting. It is this sort of iron determination that ensures that bullies of the past stay there. It is true that what does not kill us makes us stronger. Nice acrostic, Em x
