Lust & Losing

by Ayman   May 9, 2021

Thick liquid pouring down the flames,
intoxicating, a desires frame
Thin lethal wisps of smoke,
there and here moves a mans hope
Her voice low and soothing,
one's hesitance diffusing
Fire burning brightly suffocates,
both within the heart and on the slates
Tis' a dance of heat and cooling,
of lust and losing

This remind me of the end of the "One Hundred Years of Solitude" when the couple were making love in closet and were sweaty like they were in an aquarium.
