My mother

by Rianna Blight   May 13, 2021

You were there
My mother, born and bred
You knew me more than you knew were aware
You watched me, scrape my knee while it bled
Ran to get bandaids and comfort me
Gods I was a crybaby!
Even though I was annoying,
You put up through and through,
I may not show it,
But i'm so grateful to have you!
Even now, I still want you to hug me and tell me its ok
Your all I have left
I dont care how I think I feel,
No way will I ever decide to hate you
And you, my role model in every way
I hope I can be like you
I hope to provide even when I cant,
To be so selfless and feed my children, its true,
I may get mad, selfish and angry, but Mom,

Never will I not love you.
