Fire Worshipers

by BOB GALLO   May 19, 2021

Fire is flaring
and moths are exchanging their wings
with the wings of flames,
satisfying their scorching itches,
and outlining their glowing wings,

by disintegrating to combustion,
by metamorphosing
to fire,

by stretching out
to their obliteration.
