Brittle Things

by nouriguess   May 20, 2021

I can feel the shy water
gurgling under the ground.
When you lay on the grass, your heart
sort of calms.

It’s clear right
at this moment. It’s
all clear. Your voice, it asks no
questions. My fingers
tickle the clouds.
Everything knows me,
I know what I am,
right at this moment.

I won’t fret if you break me.
