Life lessons

Pain made me stronger than I was
Struggle gave me whatever it has

Harsh lessons made me a lot wiser
Obstacles I now see as a stabilizer

Life I now see from a different angle
It is decreasing like a burning candle

Tail winds blew and made me a flier
Head winds helped me to fly higher

Truth is that I never truly knew myself
Lie is that one thinks he knows himself

What I was going after was never mine
It broke me and I see it as a guideline

Lies will always stay lies no matter what
Truth will prevail and we all know that

Tomorrow is an illusion until it arrives
Night is about to stay until the sunrise

Awakening one gets after deep suffering
Senselessness doesn't ever bring a thing

Happiness is not obtaining all your goals
Sadness vanishes by the light of our souls

Accepted I have whatever came on my way
Rejecting it wouldn't have changed the day

Brave is the one who only speaks the truth
Cowards have nothing but lies in their root

What is gone was never meant to stay
What is solid nobody will ever take away

Fear was when I felt I needed you to live
Fearlessness is what my God did give

Life is not what most assume it to be
Death will come one day to set us free
