A Reply To Star ( English Iambic Tetrameter Sonnet)

A Star so bright once asked this gal,
“lol, can you really write a sonnet
about just anything my pal?”
I thought about this like a poet,
and for a moment I said, no.
A sonnet is about just love
like Shakespeare used to write you know
so eloquently written of.
But then a feeling surged in me,
and more thoughts came across my mind:
he wrote about Death too so free.
So here is my reply unwind:

“as long as a conflict lives on
a sonnet can be born upon.”
