What if I write a sonnet just for you?
You’ll get the extra credit you so need,
And hopefully, you’ll be so happy too
That you asked me for one and I agreed.
You know a sonnet is so fun to write.
It helps you organize your thoughts with time
Just practice, practice till you get it right
Be mindful of the meter and the rhyme
But also make sure to have fourteen lines
And most importantly a twist in there
To spin the readers in a dance sometimes
that no one ever will forget I swear
Thus I can not deprive you of the joy
Of writing sonnets on your own, enjoy.

Note: Someone in Reddit asked me if I could write a sonnet for them. The person needed it for extra credit. I wrote the above as a reply.
Note 2: when I sent my sonnet, the person had already written one!!! It made my day. The sonnet was pretty good for being the first time writing one.
