The Mouse, The Elephant, And The Seesaw ( First Attempt )

by Everlasting   Jun 2, 2021

At noon a mouse beneath the seesaw saw
An elephant with nuts across the yard
With cheese on hand, he rubbed his eyes in awe
Then ran to catch the elephant off guard

With nuts in hand the mouse began to run
It scurried under stomps of fear so fast
As trumpet sounds of panic loud begun
An earthquake of stress he survived at last

The elephant so big was paralyzed
The mouse so small victoriously smiled
As seesaw went just up and down surprised
A voice so loudly screamed, “say cheese!” so wild

For nuts a mouse can be an elephant
A mighty creature strong yet delicate

This was my first attempt at the challenge by Mr. Darcy.
