The title "surely this is yours" could have related to anything... At first I thought it might have been a ring or something of the sort as is... "hey will you marry me I've got you a ring, surely this is yours" kinda thing but how wrong was I? =(

I hope you don't mind me pulling this apart the way I am going to... It's just the only way I could, it will all make sense.

The opening sets a scene of sadness and (obviously) but it also makes the reader wonder why tears have begun to well, what has happened to make a grown man to cry or atleast well up as not many men would admit to this happening..

Wow, this just hit hard because we're doing to our creatures and our planet and it would make even a grown man weep. It's absurd that we're doing this and that many of us 'humans' just don't give a f.. K.

That's so tragic, an innocent little sea creature reminding us of the filth we throw at them. I love sea creatures so much.
