Prayin'

by Some Random Human   Jun 14, 2021

Oh no, I think that I'm broken,
I scream, but I'm too soft spoken,
you don't hear a word I'm sayin',
you don't hear what I am prayin' for,

There's no help for a lonely heart,
that's been torn apart,
'cause you don't regard,
what you discard as valuable,
and there's no hope for a lonely soul,
that has lost control,
'cause you got a hold,
and your grip is cold, but you wouldn't know,

Oh no, I think that I'm broken,
I scream, but I'm too soft spoken,
you don't hear a word I'm sayin',
you don't hear what I am prayin' for,

It's no use, I can't survive,
if I am not alive,
it's such a pointless fight,
when nothing is right, and that's your fault,
there's no truth, it's only lies,
when I look in your eyes,
but still you sit and try,
to honestly deny what we both know,

Oh no, I think that I'm broken,
I scream, but I'm too soft spoken,
you don't hear a word I'm sayin',
you don't hear what I am prayin' for,
or you're not there,
or you don't care,
and you just stare,
at my despair,
oh no, I think that I'm broken,
I scream, but I'm too soft spoken,
you don't hear a word I'm sayin',
you don't hear what I am prayin' for,
so what am I prayin' for..?
