I pick up a piece of this broken glass
It slices deep into my finger
I gasp
My heart has shattered like this mirror
Blurred pain grips me.
I catch a glimpse of myself but it's not really me
It's the hollowed out shell which is empty, it seems
The gleam in my eyes
When you were around
Is vanished and gone
I feel so choked, drowned
I can feel the tears quickly swelling,
Because in your body there's no dwelling
I once again view
The shattered mirror
And think aloud
"Boy I sure do miss you"
