If I could change the world

by Em   Jun 30, 2021

If I could change the world where would I start?
I'd place love and kindness in everyone's heart.
In every place I travelled I'd share my sweet smile,
giving anybody who needed it my time for awhile.
I'd compliment people and help those in dire need
by giving them a listening ear, taking away greed.
Stop global warming, the fish would freely roam,
each child would have somewhere to call home.
I'd stop all terrorism and racism right in its tracks
there'd be no foes for we'd have each others backs.
There'd be no such thing as terminal illness or addiction
nor would there be such a thing as insults or friction.
Deforestation would definitely be against the law,
the animals and humans united by hand and paw.
The human race would finally be fully integrated,
from lost loved ones we'd no longer be separated.
