You mock our worry and precautions,
saying life shouldn't be filled with dread,
downplaying the number of cases,
while contributing to the spread.
You claim you're not selfish,
you just don't trust the science yet.
Your actions - viral weapons,
your refusal - a lethal threat.
Nothing will change your mind,
not even a brush with death;
you'll still sleep with conspiracies,
in denial 'til your last breath.

This poem is not aimed toward those who are unable to receive the vaccines in their countries, it's toward those who have it accessible to them, have had every opportunity to do so, and refuse. It shouldn't have anything to do with personal freedoms or politicals since this is a public health crisis with a virus that mutates. Vaccines work and are extremely effective toward lessening the severity of symptoms if we do have COVID in the future. To not take that precaution, for yourself and for the health and safety of others, is negligent behavior.
