Birds chirp on a branch
And providing the balance
For trees to stand tall

You have a good little poem here. Even though, scientifically, it’s not true, but it’s nice to think birds contribute to the balance of the trees. The metaphor for me was family. The balance children need in order to grow and stand still against hardships, that requires happy parents whose relationship is as relaxed and harmonious as the sound of birds chirping.

Thanks nourayasmine and the Haiku meant more to describe all the natural systems as being in a state of equilibrium, in which they exist as balanced and stable. And Haikus are open to interpretation with their meaning and metaphor and I like the way you describe it relates to you.

I like how simple this is, but I also like that unlike other poems I read, the birds are the ones supporting the tree stand tall not the other way around. Which is scientifically true, there is a symbiotic relationship between them (mutualism). This also gives the poem more depth!! I really like this!!!

Thank you Star! And yes as you mention, there is a fine balance in nature where all living organisms are in harmony despite how small they might seem. I really appreciate you reading, your lovely comment and nomination!!!
