Your Life

by Oluwaseye Olayode Taiwo   Aug 17, 2021

In life, it's the journey and the goal,
When all is said, it makes you whole.
Simple virtues, not riches, wealth,
Count the most in life's true health.

The little joys, the simple things,
In happiness, your spirit sings.
Dreams fulfilled, in time they'll be,
Embrace each moment, feel so free.

Choose your path, let others talk,
Your life's your canvas, your own walk.
Actions count, not just your age,
Ignite your spark, turn the page.

Embracing one's true self is the cornerstone of success and a catalyst for fostering innovation and creativity. Nevertheless, one must be prepared to overlook the prevailing majority who often advocate for conventional approaches and resist exploring new methods or ideas.

My friend, everything you said here I love and agree upon except your first line. I think you did not mean what the conclusion of you saying conveys:
'only the destination that counts not the journey.' So, in order to reach to your goal (destination,) you, or the philosophy of the first sentence, can do everything to achieve your goal because the way to get there is not impotent the only important thing, as been said, by you, is the "destination." This is absolutely Machiavelli, whose philosophy only used by the dictators and Nazist during the history. He claimed that the “aim” (destination...) justifies the “means” (journey...)
Josef Stalin, not intellectually but practically, was a believer on this doctrine. He killed 20 million farmers in Russia in order to free them from the feudalism, and its mentality, while they were not ready.

Other than that as I said very nice my friend and thanks for sharing.
