    I love this. A great poet does not need an abundance of complicated descriptive words to get the point across. A great poet utilizes structure, as well as coloring the page with words. Thank you for sharing. My abysmal views and pessimism adore this.

    This hits me really hard. This part especially:

    “ And don't mistake this
    as happiness,
    being content where I am,

    because nothing is moving
    for me.

    It doesn't matter where I step,
    where I spend my days,
    the world is a tar pit
    that cloaks any aspirations.”

    I don’t have the words to explain it properly how these lines make me feel. They are like unwritten words out of my own head, it’s amazing. I think you nailed it with this one. It’s raw, it’s powerful, it’s truthful.
