A Smile Changed my Life

I was a sad person
I hated my life
I hated people
I hated everything
the thing I hated most was school
I was different from the rest
I didn't belong to any group
I was an outsider
No one wanted me in there group
All I ever wanted was to belong
I was such an outsider
no one even teased me
no one stole my lunch money
no one even wanted to look at me
they all thought i was a devil child
they didn't even know me
i never did anything wrong
i guess they were offend by the way i dressed
I wasn't poor
I was actually rich
but i choose to wear all black
thats the only color i wore
No i wasn't Goth
I wore every thing black since i was in third grade
i choose to wear all black because it showed how i felt
My parents didn't love me nor cared for me i had a nanny
I just got sadder and sadder and the kids just wanted nothing to do with me
Till on day late in the school year when a new boy turn around to hand me a paper and he smiled and said here you go
That was the day that change me
when i came to school the next day i wasn't wearing black for once
i was wearing color and when i went into class the next day
that boy was gone
but he change me and change me for good
for that was the day i was going to kill myself if no one talk to me
so now as i look back upon that day i realize that it was God
saying people do love you and you need to stick around
So just a smile can change anyones life
i know for a fact because it changed mine
