Your Call

by Kate   Sep 21, 2021

It’s okay. You don’t have to say another thing, my dear. We can always leave it on the shelf, don’t have to unpack those fears. I will always be right here, whenever or if ever needed. Especially when your broken heart’s bleedin’. I’ll show you how you should be treated. There’s no need to run, ain’t no reason to flee. Just want you to feel safe, even if that’s without me. I’d rather see you from the sidelines than never see you at all. But if you ever change your mind, I’ll always pick up your call.

*another song of sorts, written in prose*

This tugged at my heart strings like I haven't felt in a very long while. Truly lovely, as always.
