A Clown

by BOB GALLO   Sep 22, 2021

I am
a pendulum
synchronizing
with your heartbeat.

I am the cuckoo you meet
Springing Right out of the cuckoo clock.

I am a clock tongue
who mocks
the passage of time,
the very measurement of void!

the meaningless is paging through my book.
the clown
that announces
the empty spaces in his hat
by the endless counts of rabbits
in his eyes,

an empty swing
that sways so eagerly
crucified
between two empty spaces.

There's some sadness about this write. Its like something is been taken from you bit by bit as time progresses-ticking...
