A lost cause...

by Meena Krish   Oct 5, 2021

I'm an early bird
who decided to hit the hay
but saw faces of disappointment
which came through a grapevine,
No point of a conversation-
broken records will only
leave me bent out of shape,

Strolled to my garden
to kill two birds with one stone-
find some peace and a dream,

But the garden was a
choc a block with mosquitoes
at paly and I sigh walking back
to my roots to face the music...

Sometimes we need to get away, to multi task in solitude for our own soul and spirit, and even in retreat for strength we find disappointment and must return to reality and deal with life. I love the write, I could see you searching for a peaceful moment to dream, and sometimes the search brings some relief, never stop searching
