a waxing gibbous inspiration

by Star   Oct 19, 2021

for some reason you’re anxious,
the day and night are not forgiving,

the last part of the sun is already
hidden; you lost the timing to find a
place between the two of them.

the small unshaded part of the moon
reminds you why it doesn’t matter
what time of the year it is, or whether
the crickets are singing at night.

*though you still skip a breath*

.
.
.
the line connecting the sky and the earth
.
.
.

is no longer visible to you.

everything is a little incomplete,

but we loved that.

I really like your approach to writing Star, this has a real intriguing influence over the reader, it kind of flushes with a type of hesitancy (that's how it feels when i read it anyways lol) I particularly like the presentation of the poem :)
