Paintless

by BOB GALLO   Oct 25, 2021

He wanted to be clear
but clarity turns to blank and one must die
in order to remain blank
because
colours are stain,
and life
is colourful.

::

Sugar is bad.
It is only good to coat
the acerbity of this world:
the daily medicine of the truth.

It is to mask the bitterness of these faces,
these fences out of my windows
these words,
facts....

It is to paint
over the blank,
to colour, to stain
transparency.
