Hi MA.

This made me think of 'Oh mighty are the brave' but in truth, there is no 'mighty'
I believe we are all on a spectrum (one side or the other) and the pursuit of balance, brings it all together, if humanity actually did this, instead of wasting what we could learn!
Anyway the truth is that this piece of writing brings so much of you being 'brave' : )
So much in your poem resonates with myself.

What hit me is 'out there, is no protection' and how very sad of the truth in that!
Life could be so much more interesting, if we learned and understood a true connection.

I know this poem isn’t very old but the fact that I’m just now finding it is unfair. A deserving win. Everything about this is so delicately worded and paints such a fragile picture, like everything is just one stone’s throw away from shattering. Longingly hopeful in the end but it’s worded in such a way that the sorrow of the poem still lingers, making it almost hopelessly hopeful. My interpretation at least. Anyway, congratulations on the win. I love this.
