Upon Shooting Stars

Subtlety is not my forte when it comes to you;
Open mouth, spilling words long left dormant.
Utter obsession, captivation, utter devotion,
Like my life has been meaningless until you.
My heart feels full and entirely brand new,
And I picture bringing the world to your feet.
To say that I’m grateful is an understatement.
Every piece of you is a pleasure to absorb,
So I wish upon shooting stars for our forever.
