Bloody Valentine

by Kate   Feb 13, 2022

My seduction is slow and steady, teasingly so.
Until their heartbeat and vocals fill the room
And I breathe it all in, unbelievably intoxicating.
Tender kisses become rough and breathless,
Fingertips wrapped sharply around a throat,
Pinning my lover to the bed of sweet promises.
My tongue sweeps across my teeth devilishly
As I feel their eager struggle beneath my hips.
There is nothing quite as powerful as this:
Watching desire flood their eyes, this control.

The first click of cold metal makes me smile.
The second casts a wicked and hungry grin.
They can no longer run from my loving assault,
Cuffed to a bed they will never wish to leave.

A low chuckle escapes from my throat,
Eyes turning from emerald green to blood red.
My skin pales and my veins glow a deep black
As teeth and claws dangerously extend alike.
I was wrong before;
Nothing holds power like this, like fear.

New promises spill through clenched teeth:
A slow death, agonizing pain, silent screams.
My teeth sink in and I groan at the flavor,
At the sweet syrup of fear racing in their veins.
They writhe in pain, building upon my pleasure.
But the foreplay is over; I am hungry for more.
I pull back, carving my name into their chest
Wrapped in the sweetest heart and arrow.
My claws sink deeper and pull free a heart,
A heart promised to me, brimming with love.
I devour it, watching light fade from their eyes.

I am a feral animal when it comes to love.
