Once mine but gone forever..

Silence spoke so intensely,
when words took no form;
Your memories became
a sentiment,
when you had left
me, all alone.
I was shattered to pieces,
like I could never be
Put together as whole;
I lost bits of me in places,
where I searched for you;
You became a seamless shade,
in the rays of this scorching sun,
and I burned myself to ashes
searching for you;
But you were not to be found.
I thought time could heal
the void in my heart,
so I let the darkness in,
but it filled my soul,
Captivating me;
Yet I searched for you,
in the full moon sky,
and so I froze to a statue,
stuck in the realms
of your memories;
But you were not to be found.
My tears fall short,
though I was ready
to explode;
My heart has been forsaken,
and I am left alone,
drowning in the ocean
of empty desires;
Yet I searched for you,
But you were not to be found.
You were once mine, but
you are now forever gone.

    "You became a seamless shade,

    searching for you"

    - These are my favorite lines. Your emotion pours out in your verses and really highlights the loss of someone, how their absence can have such a great effect.

    There were a few parts where I thought adding an article or pronoun might help?
    "and so I froze to statue," ---> "and so I froze to a statue,"
    or even "and so I froze like a statue"

    and
    "My heart has been forsaken,
    and am left alone," ---> adding an "I" so "and I am left alone"

    Dear Ange I really like what you're trying to do here, Your poetical moments are amazing. You have very deep claw in poetry, whether you know that or not. But here your feeling, your inspiration did not last to your end yet you wanted to go more because you got so exited

      Thank you David! Yea I just didn’t know how to end it. I got stuck while writing and I ended it abruptly.
