Whenever one would approach the horizon, and stare out beyond the greenery, daffodils and white cliffs, the expression “I can see the sea” would always be expressed. The joy it would bring to many faces, seeing the calm blue waters, with the sun reflecting the surface, and seagulls flying above freely without a care in the world. You can see the waves reverberating, exclaiming that life exists within the deep. The smell of fresh air clearing out the lungs, and influencing the same calmness into the mind. The sea is more than water, it is life. Staring out into the far midst, knowing the sea leads to many other possibilities and endless hopes. The sea washes out the shores, cleans the sands and welcomes all who wish to connect with it. As the sea ebbs, and our toes say goodbye, we still return home carrying part of the sea that touched us. Therefore, I can see the sea, and the sea sees me.
