In a multitude of varied shades of gray.

The world became technicolor.
I lived in vivid for a handful of moments,
Bathed in its effortless beauty,
Until it all paled around me.

The electric hues of life,
Spilling emotion from my captivated eyes.
She put a filter on my mundane world,
One I can only hope to see again.
