The final lines are so profound, and I love how you spaced this too with each line only having a few words. The repeat of "can you forgive me" speaks volumes, and I think reflections like this can be incredibly hard. What the last lines especially made me think of is the way we can forget to take care of ourselves, and how that can affect others too. When we put ourselves last, when we may lose so much of ourselves, it can seem impossible to build on our own self-worth or any relationships otherwise. I felt the pain and struggle in this, and the authentic plea for forgiveness and understanding. Lots of emotion in this, thanks for sharing.
