When I feel dark inside I wear black to hide Hoping no one will stare And see the cross that I bear Hawaiian shirts I'll wear As a means to declare Notice me, I have arrived And it's good to be alive Green is the color I seek When my mood feels weak Immersed in meadows and fields Is how my psyche heals Colors we choose to wear Are the way we can share A method used to display How we are feeling today
