the scent of summer flowers ( a haiku)

Such a bittersweet haiku. I think the nostalgia, the memories, and the way a simple fragrance can make us remember is such a powerful thing. Even if we want to be upset, or want to forget, sometimes there's a soft kind of beauty in knowing that person existed. And we existed with them, too.
