Love is like the wind and wings
A yearning to just soar
When these two are combined
It lifts you off the floor

Slowly you will learn to fly
Acquiring this new skill
Discovering all sights unseen
Become the biggest thrill

Higher than you've ever been
It takes you to the max
And tests the strength of your bond
That's held like candle wax

Sometimes love cannot hold
With feelings that are felt
Where your friction causes heat
When candle wax will melt

Because the glue of your bond
Is what held you high above
