It is understandable
if someone abhors
the twelve Biblical wars
And how can we not
refuse to praise
all the horrors
of the crusades
Or the persecutions of the Jews
that have equally been
the worst of bad news
Nor should we ignore
all the conflict
between Catholics and Protestants
-what a shame I must admit-
Billions of lives
have been obliterated
in the name of a god
And nothing could outsize
how many could have been spared
otherwise
What else
could cure all the griefs
If not rectifying
all our beliefs?
