Silence of the night

So scary yet so bright

With stars of the past shining away

Who knows which of them turned grey

Staring at the past

The night sky painted vast

Dreadful are those past's sight

Just like the stars greyed out in the night

Dead since long

Dreaded lifelong

Can’t forget the past but can bury them deep

That’s the only way I can ever sleep

Sleep with dreams haunting my rest

To the nightmares, I’m always blest

So scary yet so bright
