If I could only fly like a cloud
Subject to the fluttering and dancing breeze
See the tops of mountains and rivers flowing far below
Lakes and forests with the sea on the horizon
Yet another chapter!
The open veld with all the wonders of its life forms
Going about their daily routines
Not to forget the nocturnal goings on
With this birds eyed view tattooed indelible on my mind
I find joy and piece of mind
Then there is the twinkle of the milky way
The continuous shine of stars to brighten up the sky
Science testing the ingenuity of mankind
At this cutting edge, I find myself [excited]
All this flashing by, in a pensive mood
While I greet my new dawn
With the bliss of solitude
Lying on my bed
