No more running, no more blame,
I'll take control and accept the pain.
Though I've been through a lot,
My heart won't be scarred, I won't be caught.
Why does love hurt so much?
Is it the thrill, or just the rush?
Though the hurt may seem unbearable,
I'll take a deep breath and be unstoppable.
I'll take the bad and turn it into good
And find true love, if only I could
This challenge I accept, and I'll make it through
I'll rise above and find the right hue
I've learned from the past, and I'll never be the same,
I'm ready to take on life with no shame.
Life is about taking the good with the bad,
I'll accept this challenge and be glad.
But love's a cruel and bitter scheme,
It's also the curse that haunts my dream.
Pain may come knocking at my door,
But I'll stand tall and face what's in store.
Life is a journey, and I'll take it slow
I won't let the pain take its toll
I'll use it to make me stronger, and wise
And be happy and content in my own disguise
I'll take the pain and turn it into strength,
And find new love at a my own risk.
My heart will no longer be put to the test,
As I learn to love again, at my best.
