Revelation

by Megan Chapman   Jan 16, 2023

Like a seed
unfolding the flower
of which it is the promise,
Enlightenment cracks open
my limiting shell of ignorance.

Like light
vaporises darkness,
Unknowing becomes knowing,
Familiarity, unfamiliar.

Love is revealed
to be
what I have been hiding
from myself
all along.

    Hi Megan,
I am still a fan of yours.

Like your simile, as our years pass, our petals reveal more about ourselves than we could ever have known in our youths.

    Take care.

      Ah Mr Darcy,

Thank you! What a delight to come back after a long pause to find your warm greeting waiting for me.

Maturity is indeed a wonderful thing!

      With thanks,
