Tradgedy

petals inscribed with love, fall
like teary snowflakes
thoughts become damp and shallow

a feather unfurls its wings sweeping
the stars for answers
searching for promised ink

however,
paper tumbles from trees
becoming bandages,
tending to wounds and pain

reems of darkness flap
where sails are ripped by the wind,
and butterflies carry the moon to safety
through graveyards and beyond

then,

dreams once more,
close their eyes
and wake,
in a forest of flowers

with more
curiosity
