To anyone out there in the world who expressed indifference (and for some, joy) that over 40000 people passed away and 9 millions got evacuated and/or lost their houses, by last month's earthquake: If (and I hope you never do) you ever experience a traumatizing event, and I hear about it, I will do everything in my power to help you get through the trauma. I will reach out. I will speak up. I will listen. And most important of all, I promise I will care.
