You remind me of the morning Of when the sun would rise But then I'd see a mirage And know it's a disguise You remind me of the water Reflections of the lake But then I'd see a ripple form And know that they are fake You remind me of the sky The whole expanse in blue But then I'd see stormy clouds And know it isn't you You remind me of the moon Still glowing in the night But when its phases disappear I know it isn't right You remind me of nothing else And no more will I compare Your gorgeous looks are never matched For me to look elsewhere
