Basically, not settling for half measures is about knowing what's acceptable and what is not.

I like how your title sets out the reasons for the uncompromising decision. Then the first two lines are the set up for the 'turn' in the last line. Like a meal, you not only want it all, you deserve it, too. When circumstances dictate dessert is off the menu, you find a better 'all in' restaurants.
