Oh beloved navel, how wondrous thou art, A precious mark of a mother's heart, The remainder of a bond so divine, That nurtured us until our time. In the womb, you were our lifeline, A connection so pure and fine, A symbol of a mother's love so true, That sustained us till life anew. Oh, how we take thee for granted, Our focus on what's more demanded, Neglecting the vital role you played, In the life that our mother's made. Yet in times of deepest longing, When we feel lost and belonging, We remember the warmth of our mother's embrace, And the bond that time cannot erase. For you, dear navel, are a sign, Of a love that transcends all time, A connection to our very core, That our mother's love will forever pour.
