Mythical Moonlight

Silver fingers caress dark water,
becalming its heaving mass
to leave glasslike surface.
Selene rides above.
Her chariot smooth and silent
through night sky.
Racing to kiss Endymion
whilst he sleeps.

    Oh what a wonderful write! It is written beautifully but the subject is equally wonderful! Endymion always stuck in my mind because of his relationship to the moon :)
