It was really dark close to midnight
Right after my girlfriend and I got in a huge fight
She told me she didn’t ever want to see me
And it was best if I just leave
So I got in my car and drove away
Because I had nothing left to say
Then really hard rain started to fall
The road wasn’t clear and I couldn’t see at all
I was on a small back route two way road
Where I was going I didn’t know
All of a sudden I lost control and my car slid
Then into the drivers side the incoming car collided
My air bag busted and my head smashed into the windshield
The only thing I was thinking was that I was going to be killed
I heard sirens from all kinds of cars
I was praying they weren’t too far
They rushed me right into
The emergency room
I could hear my girlfriends’ voice in my mind
Saying how much she loved me as she cried
I could feel her take my hand in hers
And says please don’t leave me now you are my world
My heart rate slowly started to decreased
Her tears started falling harder as she kissed my cheek
Then in a flash my heart beat was gone
Maybe if she would have told me all along
Just how she felt about me in her eyes
Then maybe this wouldn’t of happened and I’d be alive
