Living life in a different reality

Different behavior, unique quirks

Their world is unlike any that works

Socializing can be a challenge

But they still light up the world like an angel

Their minds are wired in a special way

We'll never know all that they can say

The world is rich with diversity

Autism brings a unique adversity

But they're not broken, they don't need to be fixed

Just loved and accepted, nothing that conflicts

Autism is a part of who they are

A different journey, but it's not bizarre

We should embrace them with open hearts

And love them for all of their special parts.
