The Gadfly

by ddavidd   Aug 16, 2023

A gadfly
Buzzes,
endlessly butting its head of nausea
against such seal windows:

Why just do I dream
of our wakefulness?

Why just am I awake
to dream of, you?

And by the insects collapse
both, the dream and the wakefulness,
the ups and downs of waves,
the heartbeats of a frighten fawn,
flattens,

yet my nausea
keeps on flapping.

Perhaps it is too personal can not be described. Maybe, I am not sure.
      Thanks Meena
